Compare the real experience

Four things matter at every level.

Ask about roster size, likely role, positions, and how meaningful minutes are handled.

Know who will coach, how they respond to mistakes, and how players receive usable next steps.

Count training, travel, weekends away, fees, uniforms, tournaments, and the effect on the household.

Name what the player wants more of now: enjoyment, challenge, confidence, friends, minutes, or a different role.
