Know the safety plan before somebody needs it.
For safeguarding concerns
- Call 911 for immediate danger. Report suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities using the Washington DCYF reporting guidance linked below; do not delay a report while seeking an internal team resolution.
- SafeSport accepts reports within its jurisdiction. Use its reporting guidance to understand whether it or another governing body is the appropriate sport authority. A sport report does not replace a report to law enforcement or child-protection authorities.
- Do not publish a child’s identity, medical information, or details of a safeguarding concern on this site. Share necessary information privately with the appropriate reporting authority, not through a public review or profile.
