Players · Parents · College program fit

Compare the whole college offer.

Put academics, soccer opportunity, people, program stability, and true net cost side by side before deciding.

01

Academic and campus fit

  1. Does the school offer the field of study I want, and can athletes realistically complete it?
  2. What academic, health, career, accessibility, and international-student support is available?
  3. Would I choose this campus if the coach, role, or team changed?
02

Soccer opportunity

  1. What role does the staff see now, and what evidence supports that view?
  2. Who else is on the roster in my position, which players are returning, and what recruiting is still underway?
  3. How do training, travel, season length, recovery, playing time, and player development work in practice?
03

People and program stability

  1. Who would coach me day to day, and how does the staff communicate difficult decisions?
  2. What changes in staffing, roster planning, facilities, or program funding are reasonably foreseeable?
  3. Can I speak privately with current players about the weekly experience?
04

Calculate the true financial picture

  • Start with total expected and additional costs, not the headline scholarship percentage.
  • Separate grants and scholarships from work-study and loans.
  • Compare net price, renewal conditions, annual increases, travel, housing, insurance, and likely debt.
  • Get athletics aid, admissions support, deadlines, and conditions in the appropriate written documents.
