Your playbook
A five-minute match review
Leave with information, not a grade.
Do this after emotions settle. Keep the review short enough that you will still use it after a hard match.
- 01
Recall one good decision
Choose a moment when you noticed useful information and acted on it—even if the final pass, touch, or shot did not work.
- 02
Find one repeatable action
Pick something specific you can do again this week: scan before receiving, recover inside after losing the ball, communicate earlier, or arrive in the box one step sooner.
- 03
Ask one honest question
Write down what you still do not understand. Bring that question to training or ask your coach at an appropriate time instead of inventing the answer yourself.
